The purpose of the proposed activity is to engage relevant sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise to evaluate options to deliver the NCIVAS (National Central Intra-Venous Additives Service ) proposal with appropriate focus on patient safety, process efficiency, and appropriate return on investment. The proposal is for desk-based research and consultancy only

Total Quantity or Scope

To enable the progression of the programme NCIVAS (National Central Intra-Venous Additives Service) requires the services of experts in medicines manufacturing to identify viable technology to deliver the requirements of the NCIVAS product portfolio. CPI Innovation Services Limited (CPI) is an organisation which supports the development and commercialisation of novel pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies through its facilities at the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC). The MMIC is a unique partnership between Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and the private sector. It delivers world class leading experts in the very specific area of automation compound manufacturing consultancy.
