Other Information
No Lot Contract Awarded The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (“NIHE”) has taken the decision not to proceed with this procurement exercise (in respect of. all Lots), as entitled to do so under applicable law and the associated procurement documentation. . . The reasons for this decision. include the following: . . • the prices returned are significantly more than the prices which NIHE had calculated as pre-tender estimates. that would represent value for money; . • insufficient market participation has negatively impacted the degree of competition remaining. within the exercise; and. • proceeding with the exercise in the current circumstances could leave some geographic areas within NIHE’s. statutory responsibility without adequate coverage.. . On the basis of the above, we consider that continuing with the exercise in the. current circumstances would not achieve the objectives identified for this procurement exercise, and would therefore not be in the public. interest.
