Legal Justification
The purpose of this contract (Framework) extension is enable the ongoing supply of goods and products to for NGN for the execution of its ongoing capital works programme whilst a full and robust procurement is undertaken in accordance with procurement regulations to renew and optimise these contracts. The procurement process is already underway and so far two Expressions of Interest have already been undertaken via the Achilles UVDB platform and are currently being assessed. NGN is committed to concluding this procurement by the end of this contract extension
Other Information
The Framework covers many different products and types of equipment and currently has fifteen participating contracted suppliers. NGN has already started the process of retendering this Framework and to date has issued two Expressions of Interest on the Achilles UVDB platform to gauge interest and alert the market to the opportunity against some of the associated lots. There is a significant amount of work to be undertaken to ensure this procurement is robust and compliant and as such NGN intends to extend these existing contracts until 30th May 2023 to give sufficient time for this procurement to be completed ** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. **
