Description
The Board requires a Service to transport passengers and urgent packages in a timely, efficient and economic manner. Expected annual requirement for journeys is approx. 112800. Journeys stated below are for indication only and are not binding on NHSGG&C. Lots, Area Cover and approximate journeys per month are listed below:- Lot 1 - Glasgow & East Dunbartonshire - 4000 Lot 2 - Glasgow South & South Lanarkshire - 4000 Lot 3 - Renfrewshire - 600 Lot 4 - Inverclyde - 350 Lot 5 - Blood Transport (Board Wide) - 450 This business sector is at risk of infiltration by serious and organised crime (SOC). The contracting authority has therefore enhanced its criteria to participate and has implemented its SOC mitigation protocol. Economic Operators must comply fully with the conditions for participation set out in section III.1 below and read them in conjunction with the European Single Procurement Document which is provided via the Public Contract Contracts Scotland Tender portal link.

1 | Glasgow North and East Dunbartonshire NHSGG&C covers almost 400 different locations across the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Area. The Board requires a transport service to move staff, patients, visitors and urgent packages around GG&C sites and further afield. This lot is for journeys required by one area of the Board. The overall objective of the Contract Lot is to provide NHSGG&C with a service to transport passengers and urgent packages in a timely, efficient and economic manner. Availability and punctuality of the service is essential. Journeys stated below are for indication only and are not binding on NHSGG&C. Below shows Lot 1, area covered and approx. journeys per month. |
2 | Glasgow South and South Lanarkshire NHSGG&C covers almost 400 different locations across the Greater Glasgow & Clyde area. Other Information
This is a sector identified at risk of infiltration by Serious Organised Crime (SOC) by the Greater Glasgow Serious Organised Crime Interventions, Police Scotland and, as such, mitigating actions will be required as part of this procurement process. The procurement of the Managed Transport Service for Passengers and Urgent Packages will follow the Procurement Departments SOC mitigation protocol. EO's seeking to participate must provide the information required in this notice which will be pre-vetted by Greater Glasgow Serious Organised Crime Interventions, Police Scotland and NHSGG&C Procurement Team.
