Description
North Ayrshire Council require a site investigation contractor to undertake site investigation works in relation to the Ardrossan marina extension. This will involve marine works within the Montgomerie Basin and immediate area. This will require the contractor to undertake sampling as designed and specified by our lead engineering contractor, Ramboll.
Total Quantity or Scope
North Ayrshire Council in partnership with the Ayrshire Growth Deal Marine Tourism Programme are developing an extension to Ardrossan Marina by developing the currently derelict Montgomerie Basin in Ardrossan Harbour. The marina will site within and be a key element of the wider Ardrossan North Shore Regeneration Programme. The marina basin will be developed through the addition of breakwaters tied to the adjacent pier and coastal revetment with dredging undertaken to achieve required depth. The contract is currently programmed to commence in October 22 with a completion date of January 23. An optional extension of up to 3 months will be available.
