***This advert is for market engagement only*** NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (the commissioner) intends to undertake a procurement process for Post Covid Assessment, Support and Rehabilitation Services (PCASR). The service aims to provide equitable access to assessment and support for people experiencing Post COVID-19 Syndrome. This includes: • Clinical triage call with patient to confirm pathway (ie. Return to self-care with advice, direct to intervention or onwards to assessment) including signposting, initial advice and wait time expectation; • Multidisciplinary assessment with consideration of physical, cognitive, and psychological needs; • An enhanced assessment and support offer including supported self-management and care coordination to help patients navigate their recovery journey; and • Innovative treatment and rehabilitation pathways for patients whose needs fall outside of existing community pathways. The anticipated contract duration will be 1 year with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months. The total contract value is expected to be in the region of £4,400,000.00, including the extension option. (£2,200,000.00 per annum) The commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to support market engagement only at this stage. The purpose of this engagement is to communicate the intention to procure in the future and also engage with the market to help finalise the service model, finance model and procurement strategy.
