Description

The OPCC is seeking interest from service providers in a forthcoming procurement to appoint a provider to work with primary and secondary schools across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight delivering workshops to support Violence Reduction. The workshops are to support both staff and children (in Years 6 and 7).

Total Quantity or Scope

We are seeking a single supplier to deliver these services who will prioritise employing and supporting staff with a level of lived experience. The Provider will be expected to follow trauma informed approach, work with the public health approach to serious violence and have a Theory of Change to support this. The Provider must have organisational experience in providing training and workshops on the following topics. • Children and young people • Multi-agency working • Knife Crime (focusing on the dangers of carrying weapons) • Gang Violence • County Lines and specifically peer drug networks • Healthy Relationships

The Provider will have their own bank account and must have safeguarding policies either for children/young people or vulnerable adults. The Provider must have adequate insurance coverage. Interested parties should register their interest as indicated above in response to this PIN. The OPCC will not be bound by any of the contents of the PIN when going out to tender for this service provision.
