Description

The Department of Health and Social Care is The Department of Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint a competent provider for the delivery of Testing of Tar Nicotine and Carbon Monoxide (TNCO) in cigarettes sold in the UK. The appointed supplier must be able to provide accredited testing laboratory services, demonstrate independence from the tobacco industry, and has the capacity to fulfil the requirements as set out in the relevant UK tobacco control regulations; the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016/507, the Standardised Packaging of Tobacco Products Regulations 2015/829 and The Tobacco Products and Nicotine Inhaling Products (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020/1316. Contract Project Reference: C75064 Contract term: 36 months with the option to extend for a further period or periods of up to 24 months. The contract will commence on 1 January 2023. Estimated contract value (including extensions): £1,000,000 (£185,000 to £200,000 per every 12 months) inclusive of vat
