Description

UKRI would like to hold a Supplier Engagement day on Thursday 18th August 2022 from 10am-12pm via an online Teams meeting, to discuss this new opportunity. UKRI is seeking to commission an independent impact evaluation of the Faraday Battery Challenge Phase 2 with the aim to understand the extent to which FBC2 is continuing to make an impact, taking into account its original goals and building on the work undertaken during Phase 1. The evaluation needs to test the extent to which the programme will deliver the outcomes and impact as expected and outlined in the delivery plan and the extent to which these are attributable to programme funding. As well as interim outcomes, appointed evaluators should have a key role in defining evaluation scope and identifying impacts that can be realised within the Challenge Lifecyle. It is expected that the evaluation will consider each strand of the programme in detail, as well as the overall impact of the combined programme. The evaluation is expected to take place over two phases (more detail on each phase is provided in the specification): Phase 1 - Framework Report and any supplementary baseline work Phase 2 - Final Impact Report, to also include a synthesis report of Phase 1 and Phase 2 In addition to this, we would like the successful bidder to provide us with progress updates between Phases, which could include case studies on key aspects of the programme which could be presented to key stakeholders. This will also enable the Challenge to demonstrate successes and impacts throughout the three year programme.
