The purpose of this exercise is to understand the capability of technology available, potential benefits and cost to the Authority. A suitable system will offer functionality to: - Store details and soft copies of contracts held and other relevant documentation - Provide templates for producing contracts - Provide a real-time updated contracts register to meet transparency requirements - Enable secure upload of performance data and tracking of contract compliance against KPIs

CPV Codes

  • 72000000 - IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support

Indicators

  • Contract is suitable for SMEs.
  • Contract is suitable for VCOs.

Other Information

- Support communication with suppliers, for example in agreeing contract variations and extensions - Supplier self service to upload performance and other compliance related information - Provide reports on contract compliance, risk and action required. This should be available at manager, department and corporate level We are particularly interested in systems which offer some integration with one or more of our existing systems, primarily ProContract (eSourcing) and Oracle Fusion (Finance). In the first instance, we will be looking to hold informal conversations with providers and view available systems. Potential providers are invited to express an interest, via the East Midlands Tenders Portal (www.eastmidstenders.org) no later than 12 Noon on Friday 14th October 2022. Please note that this is a soft market test and not a call for competition. The results of this exercise will be used to inform development of a specification and future competitive procurement exercise as appropriate.
