Description
The event seeks to procure a programme of works containing 525kV HVDC land and submarine cabling. The Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) and maintenance agreement for the programme will include land and submarine HVDC cable systems between Converter stations or DCSS, design and construction interfaces with the Converter station or DCSS works as required. The aforementioned includes civil works associated with installation of the land cable systems and all maintenance services which are Optional and may be excluded at SSENT’s sole discretion.

Full details are included with the PQQ Documents, in summary this event seeks to procure a programme of HVDC 525kV XPLE and includes: 2No. Defined projects comprising c.950km HVDC land and submarine cabling 1No. Defined Optional project comprising c.580km HVDC land and submarine cabling Undefined Optional works comprising between c.840km and c.1,240km HVDC land and submarine cabling
Renewal Options
Projects or works identified as Optional as well as civil works associated with installation of the land cable systems and all maintenance services are Optional and may be excluded at SSENT’s sole discretion.
