Description
UK Shared Business Services Ltd is putting in place a service contract on behalf of UK Space Agency. The UK Space Agency (UKSA) has a requirement to define, let and manage the Earth Observation Instrumentation Programme. The programme will focus on two key areas: A Technology Programme Deliver a mechanism to launch, fund and oversee EO instrumentation development activities accessible to a wide selection of industry, academia and SME institutions (http://www.ceoi.ac.uk/) B Added Value Programme Deliver a range of community building events and other activities to support the growth of the UK EO sector and join up industrial, academic and governmental stakeholders. Optional Scale Up It is possible that additional grant funding will be made available for the Technology Programme as part of implementing the National Space Strategy.
Renewal Options
The UK Space Agency will be contracting for an initial period of 27.5 months with optional extensions of 12 months up to a maximum of three (3) additional years from commencement of the Contract (executed at annual intervals), subject to funding.
