Description

Background In March 2022 the Department for Education (DfE) published the SEND and AP green paper setting out proposals for a system that offers children and young people the opportunity to thrive, with access to the right support, in the right place, and at the right time, so they can fulfil their potential and lead happy, healthy and productive adult lives. We are currently considering responses to the SEND and AP green paper consultation which concluded in July 2022. Purpose The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify the market of a forthcoming early market engagement event relating to the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision (AP) system in England. The DfE will be undertaking an online event on the 1st of November to gather market insight.
