Description

London Borough of Hackney and the City of London would like to commission an Enhanced Health Visiting Service. The key aim of the Service is to lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-5, as part of a holistic and joined up service with early years services, and within the context of an integrated health and care system. The Enhanced Health Visiting Service aims to reduce vulnerabilities and address the inequalities exacerbated by the pandemic, by providing greater autonomy for the Service to target resources where they are most needed. The successful Provider is required to develop and maintain close working relationships with wider partners such as children’s social care, primary care, early years services and early education providers to enable full integration of services. This in turn will provide a more joined-up, cost-effective service which can be tailored to individual needs, paving the way to deliver a service across a wider range of public health issues.

Total Quantity or Scope

London Borough of Hackney and the City of London would like to commission an Enhanced Health Visiting Service. To support all children to achieve positive physical and emotional developmental milestones. To focus on prevention and early intervention thereby enabling an early response to the holistic health needs of all children and their families. To provide a seamless service that delivers the right support at the right time for all children and their families, is reflective of individual needs and with clear pathways to other services and support as needed. To protect and promote the health and wellbeing of all children while facilitating the greatest improvements among those children with the highest need, thereby reducing inequalities.
