** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** This is a Prior Information Notice to inform potential bidders that the BSO Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS), intends to issue a tender to establish a new Framework for the supply of Microfibre Cleaning Systems on behalf of Health and Social Care and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service in Northern Ireland. The exact details of the Framework arrangement are yet to be decided however for guidance it is envisaged that the scope of the procurement will include Microfibre Cleaning Systems to be used when completing various cleaning processes eg: dusting, mopping and high-level dusting within a Health Environment including general wards/departments, high dependency/risk areas, sanitary areas, catering areas, offices and community facilities. Products may include small and large Modular Trolleys enclosed with lockable doors along with various accessories e.g. Laundry frame with lid, mop handles, mop frames, mop sleeves, high dusting tools and sleeves, mop storage box and lid, mop preparation box, cloths storage box and lids, laundry bags and laundry nets. Please note that the products for these systems must be Non-Velcro. PaLS wish to hold Awareness Sessions for interested Suppliers at a location in Belfast to assist the Contract Adjudication Group in preparing a specification that will fully meet the requirements of the Trusts and Organisations. It is anticipated that suppliers attending the Awareness Session will give a short presentation to the Group. Specific information on the content of the presentation will be provided to interested parties closer to the date. Sessions will take place on Wednesday 7th December 2022.
