Description

The Skills & Apprenticeship Hub Team are part of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and Strategic Investment Fund (SIF). The Skills & Apprenticeship Hub are establishing a ‘LCR Priority Training Support’ framework funded by ESF and SIF to support locally based employers. The priority training areas have been predominantly developed from a survey undertook by the Growth Platform with Liverpool City Region employers in June 2021. The Skills & Apprenticeship Hub team is looking to invite suitably experienced and qualified organisations to tender to deliver short yet focused and challenging training programmes that address the skills shortages highlighted in the survey. The identified priority training support topics have been separated into 19 Lots. The training surrounds the following themes: - • Leadership & Management • Basic Business Skills • Soft Support Skills • Hospitality Out of the 19 Lots, potential suppliers/tenderers

Lot Division

1 Leadership & Management Theory skills

LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around leadership and management. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified leadership & management training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand in relation to Leadership & Management (Theory and Skills) across the City Region.

2 Leadership Management - Performance

Leadership & Management (Performance) LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around leadership and management (Performance). These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified leadership & management training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region in relation to Leadership and Management (performance).

3 Leadership Management - Staff

Leadership & Management (Staffing) LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a focused training programme centred around Leadership and Management (Staffing). These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified leadership & management training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region in relation to Leadership & Management (Staffing).

6 Business skills languages

Business Skills (Spanish/French/Italian/German for business) LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around basic business skills. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified Spanish/French/Italian/German for business training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

7 Business Skills Import Export

Business Skills LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around basic business skills. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified Import/Export & Tax training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

8 Basic Skills IT Skills

Business Skills – Basic/Intermediate IT Skills LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around business skills. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified Basic/Intermediate IT skills training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

9 Basic Skills Visual basic

Business Skills – (Visual Basics for Application Training) LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around basic business skills. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified Visual Basics for Application skills training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

10 Soft Support Skills (Being an effective Team Member)

Soft Support Skills (Being an effective Team Member) LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around soft support skills. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified Team working training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

11 Soft Support Skills mental health

Soft Support Skills LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around soft support skills. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified Mental Health training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

12 Soft Support Skills problem solving

Soft Support Skills LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of focused training programmes centred around soft support skills. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified Critical Thinking & Problem solving training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

15 Hospitality management

Hospitality LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a series of hospitality-focused training programmes. These training programmes will be fully funded by LCRCA. Research undertaken by the LCRCA has identified hospitality management training as a skills’ need for LCR-based employers. As a result of this, LCRCA Skills & Apprenticeship Hub is looking to procure a training provider to satisfy this demand across the City Region.

17 Hospitality Customer Service Skills
