Description
This is a Modification notice to indicate that the Scottish Ministers intend to increase the duration of the extension to the contract by a further period of two months to 28 December 2022 to ensure continuity of communication support services on critical workstreams and allow Transport Scotland to conclude the live procurement competition for communication support services in accordance with The Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015 beyond 28 December 2022.

Legal Justification
Continuity of communication support services on a number of key high profile projects is considered to be business critical at this time of continued constrained resource. Maintaining continuity of service on these critical workstreams is an overarching factor in this further extension. The extension will allow the live procurement of key resource and specialisms to be concluded.
