This is not a call for competition and is not yet a contract opportunity. Somerset County Council and the four District Councils would like to invite you to a market engagement event to discuss how, together, we can prevent youth homelessness across Somerset by delivering housing related support and accommodation for 16-25 year olds. We are keen to hear feedback from a range of providers as part of the wider consultation for these services. Market Engagement Events Market Engagement events will be held on 12th and 13th January 2023. Purpose of the event: • For Somerset Councils to share its vision of a future service delivery model • To seek feedback from you as experts; • To help plan towards potential forthcoming procurement arrangements; • To build on existing expertise and ensure best use of the funding resources; There will be an opportunity for potential and interested providers to book a future appointment to discuss any thoughts or questions with commissioners. Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way in any potential future formal procurement. Commercial confidentiality will be respected. This notice does not represent a formal commitment by Somerset County Council to undertake a procurement procedure.

If you are unable to attend the event, the presentation, notes and associated documentation will be available through the e-tender system www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk.
