ScotRail Trains Limited has a requirement for the supply of Mains Metered Gas to its various sites throughout Scotland for a minimum 6-month period commencing 1st April 2023.

Total Quantity or Scope

The supply of mains metered gas with a forecasted annual consumption of 8GWH for a minimum 6-month period commencing 1st April 2023. Offers for a longer period may be considered should this prove economically advantageous. Precise details will be contained within the Tender documents.

The Contracting Authority does not intend to include any community benefit requirements in this contract for the following reason: Community benefits clauses will not apply to this contract. The contract authority is a new entity and has yet to establish its policy or obligations in the area of Community benefits. This is something which will be looked at for future contract award criteria.
