Description

Lincolnshire County Council is looking to carry out pre-market engagement for the countywide Substance Misuse Services. The current contracts for Treatment, Recovery and Family support services end on the 31 March 2024 and the Council has started its re-commissioning programme. A pre-market questionnaire has been published on Pro-contract. The deadline for the return of the questionnaire is 17:00 on the 10 January 2023. The Council will then look at the feedback and may wish to do further engagement on the responses received.

Total Quantity or Scope

The scope of the services for a new countywide Substance Misuse Service encompasses the following elements: - Substance Misuse Treatment service: Adults and Young person (YP) - Substance Misuse Recovery support service: Adults and YP - Substance Misuse Family and affected others support: Adults and YP Each of the above services are provided under a different contract. Lincolnshire County Council have completed the stakeholder and service user review stage and have used the findings to start scoping out the new service model. The pre-market questionnaire is set out to explore the markets preferred approach to a number of important elements especially around innovation in delivery which will help to inform the decision-making process and development of the specification. In the first instance Providers are invited to complete a pre-market engagement questionnaire which focuses upon aspects such as the scope of contract, commercial models and deliverability as well as exploring ways to make best use of additional funding that has been made available following on from Dame Carol Black’s recommendations and the From Harm to Hope strategy and consult on the markets view on joint commissioning for Greater Lincolnshire.
