There may on occasion be a requirement for Lightweight Tower Scaffold to be erected for longer than 24hrs but the erection period should not exceed 1 week. The scope of the provision of scaffolding under this Agreement, and in respect of individual call-off Orders comprises of supply, erect and dismantle of Lightweight Mobile Tower as defined Document 3 Pricing Schedule The minimum scaffolding requirements are specified in Document 2a - Technical Specification at section 6. Providers will be required to deliver scaffolding works to Magenta Living properties (internal contracts) and other contracts for which Magenta Living are a Contracted Provider (external contracts) of responsive repair and maintenance services. Orders may be placed throughout the Contract Period for erection at individual properties. In the majority of instances, the properties will be occupied whilst the erection of scaffolding is undertaken. However, in some circumstances, the property may be unoccupied. Magenta Living is seeking to appoint Tower Hire Ltd to supply, erect and dismantle of Lightweight Mobile Tower and Tube and Fitting Scaffolding in relation, but not limited to: • Responsive day to day repairs and maintenance work (including Emergency Work executed during normal working hours); • Planned Scheme Works e.g. Painting Render on external elevations • Emergency Work that is required by its very nature to be undertaken immediately to safeguard the well-being of tenants and/or occupiers, the health and safety of the general public and works of a similar nature; • Void property works (Empty properties). Tower Hire Ltd should note however that due to the unpredictable nature of works required under this Agreement the frequency and volume of orders received will be irregular in nature.
