Description

Northern Trains Ltd (NTL) is a publicly owned train operating company of DfT OLR Holdings Limited (DOHL) which commenced operating the NTL rail franchise on 1st March 2020. It runs rail passenger services in the Northeast, Northwest, Yorkshire and the Humber. NTL wishes to establish a Framework for the provision of professional design and management services to support the delivery of its programme of capital and maintenance works. During its term this Framework may be utilised by Network Rail Limited and other DfT OLR Holding's Limited Train Operating Company (TOC) subsidiary companies i.e. London North Eastern Railway (LNER), SE Trains Limited (SET), plus any other TOC's that join DOHL during the initial term of the Framework and subsequent extension. For this procurement NTL should be considered as Principle to this Framework.

The type of Work Packages that may be commissioned via the Framework will typically comprise but are not limited to the following - Lead Designer Consultant Services, Principal Designer Consultant Services Surveying, including Specialist Surveys, Architectural Support Services, Feasibility and Design Services and Specialist Advice. 2 Project Management Services

The type of Work Packages that may be commissioned via the Framework will typically comprise but are not limited to the following - Quality Assurance Services, Cost Management, Contract Administration Services and Quantity Surveyor Services.
