Description

The HyDUS initiative is an energy-storage demonstration project in which UKAEA is a key collaborator alongside other organisations. The technical process will include storage of radioactive materials and flammable gases; it will be housed inside a nuclear-rated laboratory within a specialised ISO freight container.

Total Quantity or Scope

This particular PIN relates to the Containerised laboratory required to house the other components, there may be a requirement for two laboratories, one at Culham and the other at a University of Bristol site. If this is the case we intend to conduct one procurement for both organisations.
