There are 3 EAMS systems across the business and the intention is to replace them with a single, unified platform, meeting current industry best practice and IT System requirements, i.e. cloud-based, data secure and evergreen.

Total Quantity or Scope

The current proposed outcome is a replacement of the three Mx EAMS systems with a single, unified, ‘off the shelf’ / ‘vanilla’ platform, meeting current industry best practice and IT System requirements, i.e., cloud-based, data secure and evergreen. An updated data set that is organised and consistent across the business will form the basis of the system going forward. It is currently planned to extend the capability of the new system to potentially include other business activities and datasets, such as our Asset Condition database and Asset Risk database to create a more comprehensive information management system.Although the scope will cover the current 13 Magnox sites, it will need to be flexible enough to be rolled out across other sites as they join the business. There are no ITT documents available with this PIN and suppliers do not need to complete a Selection Questionnaire. Magnox is however looking for feedback from potential suppliers and it invites you to respond to some key questions that will help inform the development of the sourcing strategy and any subsequent tender documentation. These key questions are available on Atamis (access as detailed above) and suppliers are to submit their responses to the questions via Atamis. This will ensure that the requirements are effectively met and delivered in a strategy that meets market capabilities and requirements. It also provides procurement awareness for suppliers regarding these requirements. Any information gathered through this market consultation exercise may inform internal business planning and any possible subsequent procurement process and will NOT be appraised in any future tender evaluation exercise.
