Description

This Prior Information Notice is for a proposed framework for new build residential construction. The purpose of this notice is to enable interested parties to engage with Scotland Excel to discuss the opportunity, marketplace and options regarding the structure of the proposed procurement. It is anticipated that most of the schemes under the Framework Contract will comprise of social rented properties, although Councils may use the framework for other tenure, mixed tenure and any other residential schemes with particular requirements (e.g. care homes, supported living accommodation, student accommodation, temporary accommodation). Please note that at this stage the scope of the framework and its lot(s) are subject to change. At this stage, there is an opportunity for interested parties to consult with Scotland Excel in relation to the proposed framework. Scotland Excel invites contractors to provide input in relation to the potential scope and structure of the framework. Interested parties are asked to complete the follow survey by 31 January 2023: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/E5DDOD/. Scotland Excel may invite a representative group from those interested parties to conduct online meetings to discuss any potential delivery mechanisms. Scotland Excel is particularly interested in consultation with Contractors who provide new build residential building through modular construction methods.
