Description
Fife Health Board (more commonly known as NHS Fife) (“NHS Fife”) placed an advertisement in the Public Contracts Scotland Portal on the 20th January 2023 seeking expressions of interest from any parties interested in providing primary medical services to patients in the Kinghorn, Burntisland and High Valleyfield areas of Fife as an individual, combined or collective expression of interest.
Total Quantity or Scope
These requirements have arisen due to the departure of general practitioner partners providing primary medical services located in the three above named practices to a list of 9,428 patients in total – Kinghorn Medical Practice with 3,368 patients, The Links Medical Practice with 1,930 patients and Valleyfield Medical Practice with 4,126 patients. NHS Fife wishes to select a new service provider(s) with the capacity and capability to meet the needs of these patients by delivering high quality, patient-centred clinical services in a primary care setting, all in accordance with NHS Fife’s requirements set out in Section 8 (“Requirement”).
