Description
The NEUPC is creating a framework for Mechanical and Electrical Services to be available to its membership. The requirement will be broken down into 4 smaller regions with two separate lots for Mechanical and Electrical specialisms.
Lot Division
| 1 | Mechanical Services - North East
The works under this framework will involve all aspects of mechanical services, typical of University buildings such as but not limited to Laboratories, small and complex lecture theatres, Libraries, café and commercial kitchens, offices (individual and open plan), public areas, meeting rooms, conference rooms, accommodation, plant areas, etc. As well as the above types, appointed Contractors will be expected to carry out works in buildings of varying age/condition, listed/heritage type buildings. |
| 2 | Mechanical Services - Yorkshire & Humber
The works under this framework will involve all aspects of mechanical services, typical of University buildings such as but not limited to Laboratories, small and complex lecture theatres, Libraries, café and commercial kitchens, offices (individual and open plan), public areas, meeting rooms, conference rooms, accommodation, plant areas, etc. As well as the above types, appointed Contractors will be expected to carry out works in buildings of varying age/condition, listed/heritage type buildings. |

Other Information
The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.The framework will be open to all members of the NEUPC whether or not they are classed as Contracting Authorities under the Public Contract Regulations. For clarity bidders may bid on both specialisms but only one region eg 1a & 2a. The maximum number of suppliers of 40 will only be awarded to the framework in instances where there are no suppliers awarded to both specialisms.
