Description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to provide awareness of an upcoming framework tender for building refurbishment works. The Refurbishment and Associated Retrofit Works Framework (working title) will be the successor to LHC's successful Whole House Framework (WH2). The new framework will be designed to support clients with delivering a range of refurbishment and associated retrofit and improvement works. This opportunity has been listed on behalf of LHC and our regional entities: Consortium Procurement Construction (CPC) LHC London and South East (LSE) Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) South-West Procurement Alliance (SWPA) Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA) The full scope of this framework will be defined following engagement with clients and interested parties as part of LHC's market engagement activities, however it is anticipated this framework will allow for works to be carried out in both residential and non-residential buildings including: Kitchen & Bathroom Replacements and Associated Works Electrical Works Painting and Decorating External Works Multi-Disciplinary Works

Lot Division

1 Kitchen and Bathroom Replacements and Associated Works

The scope of the works is expected to include design, supply and renewal of kitchens and bathrooms and all related associated works, this may include: Design, supply and the renewal of all heating systems, including energy efficiency measures; Design and the renewal, of electrical installation & rewiring; General aids and adaptations excluding specialist equipment Additional information: The above represents LHC's initial thoughts but will be refined following market consultation and therefore may not represent the workstreams/lot structure in the final tender issued. Within each lot there will be multiple geographical areas that bidders can apply for.

2 Electrical Works

The scope of the works is expected to include; Design, supply and renewal of electric heating systems, including energy efficiency measures; Design, renewal and improvements, of electrical installation & rewiring; Associated energy efficiency works Additional information: The above represents LHC's initial thoughts but will be refined following market consultation and therefore may not represent the workstreams/lot structure in the final tender issued. Within each lot there will be multiple geographical areas that bidders can apply for.

3 Painting and Decorating

The scope of the works is expected to include cyclical redecoration and pre-decoration repairs; which where external redecoration is being undertaken, could include roofing renewal works. 4 External Works

The scope of the works is expected to include; Excavation & Landscaping Demolition Fencing & Gates Drainage Concrete Work Brickwork & Blockwork Carpentry & Joinery Metalwork & Fabrication Painting & Decorating Additional information: The above represents LHC's initial thoughts but will be refined following market consultation and therefore may not represent the workstreams/lot structure in the final tender issued.
