Description

The WMCA has received funding from the Emergency Tree Fund (ETF) (administered by The Woodland Trust) to support its ambition to expand the woodland cover of the region to tackle both the climate and ecological emergencies. A key component of the ETF project is to undertake an i-Tree survey for the Birmingham, Solihull and Coventry constituent authority areas, this will complement the i-Tree survey already completed by the Black Country Consortium (also an ETF project) for those WMCA constituent authorities in the Black Country providing a full coverage of the WMCA constituent authority area and it will provide a comprehensive picture for the WMCA region to inform tree management decisions and ambitions.

Total Quantity or Scope

The WMCA are seeking to commission consultants to undertake an i-Tree survey for the Birmingham, Solihull and Coventry constituent authority areas, this will complement the i-Tree survey already completed by the Black Country Consortium (also an ETF project) for those WMCA constituent authorities in the Black Country providing a full coverage of the WMCA constituent authority area and it will provide a comprehensive picture for the WMCA region to inform tree management decisions and ambitions.
