Legal Justification
A scoping exercise was conducted by end user within the University`s School of Engineering & Physical Sciences with findings drawn that the Superconducting Nanowire Single-Photon Detector Array from Photon Spot Incorporated meets all of the specification of requirements to enable the research to be conducted. The Superconducting Nanowire Single-Photon Detector Array delivers a free-space coupled imaging focal plane array of greater or equal to an 8x8 superconducting nanowire single-photon detector with timing capability. The detector performance is greater than 70% detection efficiency and less than 100ps jitter at full-width half maximum. The principal purpose of the contract is to acquire goods in connection with research undertaken by the University
