Description

NHS Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) are seeking the provision of a Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) in the following two categories which will be procured as 2 separate lots within a single process. Lot 1 - Haemodialysis Car Service Lot 2 - Planned NEPTS Services The NEPT Service promotes access to healthcare provision through an NHS funded transport service for those patients registered with a GP in NHS Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board who meet the eligibility criteria as set down by NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). This includes vulnerable people by reason of mental health or learning disability, children, and eligible escorts. Full details for each of the Lots including specification, activity, scope and requirements can be found within the procurement documentation. The duration of the agreement will be for a period of 5 years, with an option to extend up to a further 2 years at the discretion of the commissioner. • Lot 1 Haemodialysis Car Service - £796,138pa giving a contract value of £3,980,690 for the initial 5-year period and £5,572,966 if the full extension period of 2 Year is adopted. • Lot 2 Planned NEPTS Services - £5,238,164 pa giving a contract value of £26,190,820 for the initial 5-year period and £36,667,148 if the full extension period of 2 Year is adopted. This Tender relates to Lot 1 and 2 only as detailed in the above list. Those Bidders that are intending to bid to provide services against Lots 1 and 2 must do so in line with the instructions contained herein A separate procurement is being undertaken for the Patient Transport Hub. Bidders intending to bid for the Patient Transport Hub must do so against the separate Contract Notice and Invitation to Tender that is has been released. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
