Description

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking to commission a range of multiple, suitably providers to provide Mental Health Support and Accommodation Pathway Services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The services under the scope of this procurement are primarily for people ordinarily living in Greenwich who are under the Care Programme Approach (CPA), have an allocated Care Coordinator (CO) for their mental health and require support with daily living. However, there might be a need for flexible support to people not under the CPA Programme. The Mental health Support & Accommodation Pathway Services is seen as an integral part of the Government's vision to promote integrated services that deliver personalised care. It is anticipated that the outcome of this procurement will foster and facilitate a more seamless service provision for service users, families and carers, working with housing and the voluntary and community sector to help service users lead the life they want to live whilst accessing holistic support to increase their independence. The duration of contract is yet to be confirmed but is provisionally set at a period of 7 years (which includes a 2 year extension) and shall be awarded to multiple providers. Forecast indicate that the yearly expenditure in this area is estimated at 2.9M per annum. (20.3M for 7 years) This forecast is provisional and subject to confirmation from Finance.
