Description

VRU would like to invite you to the market engagement event for the Learning Partner service for our Hospital Based Youth Work programme in London. The session will be held on Tuesday 2nd May from 11:00 - 12:00 where we will share further information about this opportunity. What the learning partner will do: 1. help the VRU to contract manage our Hospital Based Youth Work services across London 2. capture real time learning, improve data collection and use this information to optimise processes to deliver the most impactful service for young people and bring about systems change The Violence Reduction Unit funds Hospital Based Youth Work teams operating out of all 4 Major Trauma Centres (MTCs ) and 8 Accident and Emergency Departments (A&Es) in London. These youth work teams are based within the hospital setting and provide crisis support to young people aged 11 - 25 presenting at the hospitals as victims (or suspected / potential victims) of violence. The Hospital Based Youth Work programme is a high profile, high value service commissioned by the VRU and we are investing significantly in improving the evidence base for this work. As part of this project the Learning Partner will need to work closely with key stakeholders in the hospital based youth work sector including youth work service providers, hospital staff, wider NHS colleagues and an independent evaluation partner. We expect the commissioned Learning Partner organisation to have experience in the following areas: • Data collection and processing systems, analysis and presentation • Project/Contract Management • Sharing best practice across sectors • Implementing data sharing agreements/frameworks between large partners The invitation to tender will be issued in May 2023.
