Legal Justification

Following the sudden financial difficulties faced by the existing operator of Sevenoaks District Council's leisure facilities at Sevenoaks Leisure Centre, Lullingstone Park Golf Course and Edenbridge Leisure Centre (Sevenoaks Leisure Limited), rendering them unable to continue their operation, the Council required an operator urgently to step-in as a temporary operator to protect the assets and to reopen these important facilities to the public. This is a temporary procurement (of two years) while longer term solutions are identified.
