Stonewater is seeking a contractor to support the build of a new development on land situated off/at The Firs, Meriden. The scheme comprises 75 units. The tenure mix intended for the site is as follows: Affordable rent - 23 Rent-to-buy - 6 Shared ownership - 24 Social rent - 22 The existing site comprises of dense continuous bramble scrub, semi-natural woodland, native species rich hedgerows, with scattered mature trees and saplings. The site is close to nearby residential areas, a retirement scheme at adjoining land called The Firs (Stonewater) and the village itself of Meriden. It is also within a short distance of the A45 and M42 and within easy reach of Birmingham, Birmingham International Airport and train station and other smaller train stations.
