Description
The National Audit Office (NAO) is seeking to introduce adaptive learning technology as a method for delivering learning at the NAO. E-Learning modules created using adaptive learning technology will automatically adapt to a learner's knowledge, skill, and confidence as they progress through the module. The modules will check the user's competence regularly. Adaptive learning online modules will provide a learning experience tailored to a learner's individual's level of knowledge and need - offering a more efficient and impactful learning experience. The adaptive learning solution is required to take content supplied by the NAO. The supplier's solution will then break it down by learning objective and create evaluation questions. Each section of the adaptive course will test a learner's confidence, accuracy, and knowledge. If the learner is confident and correct, their path through the learning is shorter and more efficient. If the learner is confident and incorrect the learning adapts to them, taking them through more of the learning. We are engaging with the market to get a better understanding of tools / software that can create an adaptive piece of learning (i.e. an e-learning module) where the same content is tailored to the needs of individual learners (by measuring their competence and confidence while they are learning). The technology will supplement the tools and techniques available to the NAO Learning and Development team (L&D) for developing learning across NAO.
