The Council has a requirement for the Provision of Taxi (Hackney & Private Hire) and Bus & Coach (Public Service Vehicle) Operators Services to facilitate scheduled/recurrent requirements for the transportation of children and young people with Special Educational needs to and from their educational provision. The DPS will also cover a variety of ad-hoc and scheduled/recurrent requirements for the transportation within Adults and Children's Social Care.
