This notice is for information only and does not constitute formal commencement of a procurement process. Surrey Heartlands, Frimley and Surrey County Council Commissioners are looking to undertake an Open Procurement under the Light Touch Regime, under regulation 74 of The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 to secure 5 contracts. • Based on geographical areas of Surrey (North-West Surrey, Guildford & Waverley, Surrey Heath & Farnham, Surrey Downs, East Surrey). • To support emotional well-being, resilience, and independence. • To provide community based social groups and one-to-one support. Concepts • Health and Social Care • Mental Health • Health and Well-being • Community support • Social activities • Prevention • Adults Surrey County Council are the lead Commissioner on behalf of Surrey Heartlands ICB and Frimley ICB, we are looking to award a contract for the provision of Community Connections services. It is intended that the opportunity will be published during Summer 2023, with a contract commencement date during Spring 2024.

1 North-West Surrey

Community Connections services are a key part of the mental health offer for adults in Surrey, and a principal element in Surrey’s preventative offer to support people with mental health needs to stay well in their communities through social connections and networks. Contributing to system priorities around early help, resilience, and independence. It is an integral part of the pathway for people who experience mental health problems, often bridging the gap between primary mental health care and secondary mental health care. We require a service that reduces health inequalities by expanding opportunities for individuals with self-defined mental health needs to achieve their full potential, through participation in social, leisure, sports, art and education, within their local community. These should be delivered in both group and one-to-one setting in line with the individual’s needs.
2 Guildford & Waverley
