Description

The Tenderer should be aware that the works detailed in this package are constrained due to the nature of the location they are to be conducted in. Project location HM Naval Base Portsmouth The Contractor shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements, all Contractors and Sub-Contractors shall be BPSS security vetted and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes. The Contractor shall be expected to hold the following levels of insurance £10m Public Liability, £10m Product Liability, £5m Professional Indemnity. Project description - Undertake gas network maintenance in accordance with Technical Standard Gas-01 (TS Gas-01). This shall apply to all networks managed by the MMO for the HMNB establishment. As well as the Operational Naval Base, this also includes HMS Nelson, the Wardroom, HMS Temeraire, Fleet Sports Ground, and United Services Sports Ground.

- TS Gas-01 outlines the maintenance requirements and where relevant the methods and equipment that shall be used. TS Gas-01 shall be provided with the tender to allow them to quote appropriately. - The gas network service drawings shall be provided with the tender to allow them to quote appropriately. - Reports shall be provided with results of maintenance. They shall highlight any defects and provide recommendations for improvements and rectifications. The report shall state if the network(s) is safe based on the results obtained - Provide an emergency response service for the HMNB Portsmouth establishment (including HMS Temeraire, FSG, USSG, and the Wardroom) in line with Gas Safety (Management) Regulations 1996 regulation 7(4) and 7(5), regarding response times. Further information on the exact service provided shall align with other sections of GS(M)R regulation 7 and will be discussed at a later date.
