Description

The Building Resilience, Inclusion and Diversity through Girls' Education (BRIDGE) is a four-year Technical Assistance programme, that will champion the UK's commitment for every girl to receive 12 years of quality education, squarely responding to the priorities on Women and Girls within the UK's International Development Strategy. This programme will provide access and targeted technical assistance to quality education for marginalised children, especially girls and support learning recovery and capacity building within Ministry of Education(MoE) in Jordan. The purpose of BRIDGE programme is to improve inclusive and gender sensitive education and combat learning loss at the systems level caused by COVID-19 school closures. This includes capacity building of the MoE financial management and reporting, support to remedial education, increasing safety in schools, teacher training and resources. BRIDGE will ensure inclusion is mainstreamed in Jordan's education system and continue to advocate the messages of the London 2016 conference to ensure that all children, regardless of nationality, have access to quality education.
