The Therapeutic Placement Support service will deliver a specialist multi-agency team who will provide bespoke and targeted support to care experienced children that are at risk of placement breakdown due to their complex needs. The team will work intensively with carers (foster/kinship/IFA etc), professionals, and the whole support network around the child to mitigate the risk of the child moving on and carers burning out. This service must adopt a collaborative, pro-active and inclusive approach to working with children, young people, their families, carers and staff to enable better outcomes. We require an experienced provider who has highly skilled, qualified staff that have extensive experience and knowledge of working with children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs and who understand complex family dynamics and trauma. The service will have access to a clinical psychologist, who will work directly with this contract and our residential services, carrying out clinical assessments to formulate interventions and to help provide direction and support to both staff and children.
