Description

This is a Soft Market Test being conducted by the University of Southampton, this is not an invitation to tender. The University is looking to purchase an Ultra-Pure Water System for the Mountbatten Building on the Highfield Campus. The Mountbatten Building at the University of Southampton currently generates pure water via a Quattro 3000 Unit and final polishing/UV/filter equipment. This unit is now considered obsolete and the University is looking for a suitable replacement Ultra-Pure Water System (UPW) to be sited within the Mountbatten Building on the Highfield Campus, which needs to be compatible with existing pipework, storage tanks, pumps and motors where possible. The Mountbatten building is a highly technical building supporting the research within the Cleanroom complex (nano fabrication, lithography, optical fibre production and novel glass research) and the Optical lab areas (mainly lasers and characterisation), with demand for high quality, ultra-pure and Reverse Osmosis (RO) water. Document to be returned as part of this Soft Market Testing - 2023UoS-0845 - Soft Market Testing Questionnaire V2.pdf The deadline for clarifications is 18/09/2023 at 12.00 Noon. The deadline for Questionnaire submissions is 25/09/2023 at 12.00 Noon.
