Lot Division

1 Minor Works

Caerphilly County Borough Council are seeking suitably qualified contractors to perform minor works which may include but are not limited to grab rails, key safes, handrails, small ramps, steps etc. Some works are required to be completed same day/next day to facilitate hospital discharge.

2 Major Works of Adaptation – Internal

Major works of internal adaptation performed in public domestic properties. Works estimated to be between GBP1,001 and over in value up to a maximum of GBP17,999 for Showers and Associated Works internal. Works include but are not limited to wet rooms/shower installations and associated non-structural Works. Works may also include kitchen adaptations.

3 Major Works of Adaptation – External

Major external works of Adaptation. Works estimated to be between GBP1,001 and GBP17,999 in value for external works and any associated internal works. Works may include but are not limited to ramps, steps, walls, and installation of doors. Associated works may also incorporate wet rooms, kitchen adaptations, increased accessibility in and around the dwelling, structural works, and extensions

4 LOT 4

Caerphilly County Borough Council are seeking suitably qualified contractors to perform works for extensions and structural works including all associated works. This lot will also be utilised to tender for works in any other Lot from 1-3 should there be issues with contractor availability and will be used at the Council’s discretion. Should work previously offered in Lots 1-3 be offered in Lot 4, contractors who have already had the opportunity to undertake the Work within their respective Lot will be excluded in this process. All work offered within this Lot will be via mini competition using Proactis Quick Quotes
