Description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is in relation to a renewal framework opportunity for Sheriff Officer Services. It is anticipated that the scope of the services covered under the framework will include, but is not limited to, debt collection services for council tax (including water and wastewater charges), non domestic rates, community charge, housing benefit overpayments, enforcement and diligence in relation to current and former tenant rent arrears, service of a variety of statutory notices, post decree services including the service of charge and the carrying out of evictions, service of sundry court documents e.g. summons and interlocutors, sales ledger debt collection, sales ledger diligence and penalty charge notices.

Total Quantity or Scope

Tenderers will be able to bid for one, any, or all local authority areas, where applicable. Please note, the lot structure is still to be confirmed, and is therefore subject to change.

Scotland Excel envisages publishing a future tender opportunity on behalf of all 32 local authorities in Scotland, together with any Integration Authority, or other body, established pursuant to the Public Bodies (Joint Working)(Scotland) Act 2014. At this stage there is an opportunity for interested parties to meet with Scotland Excel to discuss the upcoming framework. We would like to invite suppliers to contact Scotland Excel to arrange an individual meeting to take place via Microsoft Teams on Monday 18th September and Tuesday 19th September. The meetings will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. The meeting can also be conducted over the telephone if this is easier due to locality.
