Legal Justification
An open EU tender (13202) was awarded to Fresenius Ltd in February 2014for Haemodialysis Equipment and Consumables for the WHSCT. The resultant contracted expired in February 2021. 47 X 5008H Cordiax systems were purchased. There is still life in the Cordiax equipment, the systems are in good working order and the Trust is not in a position to replace them. Due to circumstances beyond the trust control the contract will expire early on November 2023 and there will be no contract coverage for the consumables and spare parts
