Description

Hook Parish Council requires a locally based organisation with extensive knowledge of Hook Hampshire (RG27 9) to manage the Parish council's owned land in accordance with a ground's maintenance and pitch maintenance schedule for a 4 year period. The organisation must provide evidence of having prior experience of undertaking such works like grass cutting to a football league standard, hedge cutting and border maintenance on the side of the highway. They will also be required to carry out works on an ad hoc basis. The public spaces owned and maintained by the Parish Council are very popular with the public and therefore Hook Parish Council expects any applicants to have a demonstrable experience of providing a high level of customer service and passion to their work as well as a reliable and prompt on call service 7 days a week for any reported faults that may need urgent attention. Any interested parties must have a proven track record and provide evidence of previous and/or current experience. Applicants must provide at least one relevant reference as well as providing evidence of any training qualification or pending training they have in grounds and pitch maintenance, as well as a copy of their public liability insurance. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with the Environment and Community Administrator, attending regular meetings to ensure that each area is maintained to the highest level of quality. safety and cleanliness.'
