Description

Provision of Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) for the processing of approximately 20,000 tonnes per annum of Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR). DMR is a fully comingled mix of household collected recyclable material, including glass. The provision of MRF also includes the collection of DMR from a single collection point. Please refer to the full suite of procurement documents for further details regarding the requirements under the contract.

Lot Division

1 Variable Price incorporating a Basket of Goods Payment Mechanism

Lot One - Incorporating a Basket of Goods payment mechanism. This will be linked to the Letsrecycle.com material resale index and will mean that revenue and costs associated with the Basket of Goods will fluctuate each month. Tenderers are invited to tender for both lots. Tenderers can tender for a single lot. A single contract will be awarded for either Lot 1 or Lot 2. The decision whether to award a contract for Lot 1 or Lot 2 will be taken Ansa’s sole discretion.
2 Inclusive Gate Fee Incorporating Processing Costs, Haulage Costs and Material Resale Value)

Lot Two - Fixed Price Incorporating an inclusive Gate Fee. The Contract will incorporate an inclusive Gate Fee which will account for Processing Costs, Haulage Costs and Material Resale Value. Tenderers are invited to tender for both lots. Tenderers can tender for a single lot. A single contract will be awarded for either Lot 1 or Lot 2. The decision whether to award a contract for Lot 1 or Lot 2 will be taken Ansa’s sole discretion.

Renewal Options

There is an option of a contract extension for up to an three additional years.
