Description

Haringey Council wishes to commission a Capacity Building Partner for the Voluntary and Community Sector in Haringey. The contract is a joint initiative between Haringey Council and North Central London Integrated Care Board (ICB). The Council is committed to supporting a vibrant, sustainable and diverse voluntary and community sector and recognises that strong communities and community assets are key contributors to improving the life chances, health and wellbeing of the population and reducing health inequalities

Total Quantity or Scope

The Council is carrying out this procurement under the "Light Touch Regime" in accordance with Part 2, Section 7 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Contracts will be awarded on the basis of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT), the weighting for Quality/Price is 60/40. Other Information

The Capacity Building Partner will drive forward change and embed new approaches, initiatives and support the delivery of councils and ICB's strategic priorities. This includes commitment to implementing a new, fair, equitable and transparent approach to working with the VCS, setting out a cross-cutting commitment to knowing our communities better and developing a strong civil society, that is resilient, cohesive and puts residents at the centre. The Council is seeking proposals from Suppliers who can deliver all the service requirements as Individual organisations, Partnerships and Consortia. The service will be procured as a single contract and is anticipated to start in April 2024.The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with option to extend for a further period (s) of up to 2 + 2 years in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, subject to satisfactory performance. For the avoidance of doubt, the maximum length of the contract, if extended, will not exceed seven (7) years.
