Description

NHS Orkney Health Board has a requirement for the provision of a patient transport service for non-emergency patients and their escorts from both Orkney and Shetland. The contractor shall be responsible for the assistance and safe passage of the patients between Aberdeen Airport and/or Ferry Terminal and various hospitals in the Aberdeen area.

Total Quantity or Scope

The contractor shall be responsible for the assistance and safe passage of the patients between Aberdeen Airport and/or Ferry Terminal and various hospitals in the Aberdeen area. Additional information: The following insurance cover and minimum levels are required: Public Liability Insurance (5m GBP for any one event) Employers Liability Insurance (5m GBP for any one event) Motor Fleet Insurance

Renewal Options

In addition to the initial 48 month contract period there is an option for 2 x 12 month extensions. The estimated total contract value is for the entire 72 month period.
