Description

This purpose of this contract is for the supply and distribution of spirits and core wines, beer and cider to members and clients of TUCO (Universities, Colleges and the wider Public Sector).The scope of products to be covered in the framework are as follows but not limited to:Draught and packaged beers and cider to include core, craft and speciality.Spirits and fortified wines, RTD,Wines ,Low/no alcohol options across all lots - and it is envisaged that suppliers will be able to cover the full scope of products within each of the lots. The new framework agreement will commence on 15 March 2024 until 14 March 2026 with the option to extend by 2 x 12 months until 14 March 2028.Tenderers are required to submit their responses within the timescale specified within the tender documents.

Lot Division

1 Draught Beers and Ciders
  • Value: £11M

This lot will focus on the supply and distribution of core, craft and speciality draught alcoholic drinks such as beer, cider, stout and ale to members and clients of TUCO. Lead brewer is responsible for maintaining the cellar, pumps, lines etc. at no additional cost.

2 Packaged Beers and Cider
  • Value: £4M

This lot will focus on the supply and distribution of core, craft and speciality packaged alcoholic drinks such as beer and ciders available in bottles, cans etc. to members and clients of TUCO.

3 Spirits and Fortified Wine
  • Value: £9M

This lot will focus on the supply and distribution of spirits and fortified wines required by TUCO members for their bars and hospitality events.

4 Core Wines and all Wines
  • Value: £10M

This lot will focus on the supply and distribution of core wines and other wines required by TUCO members for their bars and hospitality events.

5 One Stop Shop (i.e. draught, packaged, spirits and wines)

This lot will focus on the supply and distribution of all products covered in Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 enabling our members to call off from this agreement if they are looking to use a one stop shop approach. Requires the supply of beers, ciders, spirits, fortified wines and core and all wines required for bars and hospitality events.

6 Independent Brewers
  • Value: £500K

This lot will focus on the supply and distribution of beer, cider, stout, ale from smaller scale independent brewers required by TUCO members for their bars and hospitality events.

Renewal Options

Option to extend by 2, 1-year extensions up until 14.03.2028. This will be subject to performance.
